Study ancient astrology through private, live mentorship with Abbeygale Quinn. Choose a 5, 9, or 13-week program, with each week centered around a live 2-hour, one-on-one session tailored to the student’s experience, interests, and questions.
The course focuses on the astrological traditions of ancient Mesopotamia, particularly Sumerian astrology and Babylonian astrology, while connecting this material with sidereal astrology, astronomy, mythology, chart interpretation, and spiritual practice.
This is a private mentorship rather than a group course. Each live session provides dedicated time to study the material, examine charts, discuss ancient sources, and explore the areas of astrology most relevant to the individual student.
What You’ll Study
Ancient astrology takes on a different dimension when studied in the context of the cultures that produced some of the earliest surviving written records of celestial observation and interpretation.
The mentorship explores the mythology, astronomy, symbolism, and astrological practices of ancient Mesopotamia, along with their relationship to later astrological traditions.
Depending on the student’s experience and the length of the mentorship, subjects may include:

Private 1-on-1 Mentorship Options
Students may choose from three program lengths:
5-Week Mentorship
Five private 2-hour live sessions — 10 hours of individual mentorship.
9-Week Mentorship
Nine private 2-hour live sessions — 18 hours of individual mentorship.
13-Week Mentorship
Thirteen private 2-hour live sessions — 26 hours of individual mentorship.
Sessions are held live via Zoom and recorded for later review.
The program is suitable for different levels of experience. No previous study of Sumerian astrology or Babylonian astrology is required, while experienced astrologers may use their mentorship to concentrate on more advanced historical, astronomical, or interpretive material.
22.5 Hours of Additional Video Courses
Every mentorship option also includes lifetime access to two complete recorded courses.
15-Hour Ancient Astrology Video Course
The Ancient Astrology Video Course provides an additional 15 hours of instruction covering material that complements and expands upon the live mentorship.
Students can work through the course between private sessions and retain lifetime access after the mentorship has ended. The recorded material also allows live sessions to be used more effectively for discussion, questions, chart work, interpretation, and individualized instruction.
7.5-Hour Chakras in Astrology Course
Students also receive lifetime access to the 7.5-Hour Chakras in Astrology Course.
This bonus course explores astrology in relation to the chakras, mythology, and the human body, with significant attention given to medical astrology and connections between Mesopotamian and Indian traditions.
Together, the two recorded courses provide 22.5 hours of additional instruction alongside the 10, 18, or 26 hours of private live mentorship.
Sidereal Astrology & the Ancient Sky
A central part of the program is reconnecting astrology with astronomy and the observable sky.
Sidereal astrology calculates planetary positions in relation to the stellar zodiac rather than the tropical zodiac’s seasonal reference system.
Students learn to work with astronomical information alongside the astrological chart, providing a clearer understanding of the celestial framework being interpreted.
This astronomical perspective is especially relevant to the study of Babylonian astrology and ancient Mesopotamian celestial traditions, in which direct observation and documentation of celestial phenomena played an important role.
About Abbeygale Quinn
Abbeygale Quinn is an ordained minister, professional astrologer with more than 25 years of experience, and co-founder of the International Sidereal Astrology Association (ISAA).
Her work specializes in the astrology, mythology, and celestial traditions of ancient Sumer and Babylon. She also studies, speaks, and teaches Sumerian, one of the world’s oldest known written languages.
Her approach treats astrology as a form of spiritual counseling and education rather than entertainment, with an emphasis on understanding the historical, mythological, astronomical, and spiritual foundations behind astrological practice.
